We are at the time period where consumers just waste the resources that we have. Most of the food that people eat are packaged products; which require energy to make. Because people keep buying more and more products, industries are using more power to make the products. People today buy things without a second thought of whether they really need the things that they’re actually buying. Now that climate change is happening AND our resources have decreased so much, it is critical to conserve energy. Right now, with all the modern technology and science, it’s easy to believe that we have unlimited resources but we need to know that our energy is important and people should value it. Sadly, this isn’t the only problem.

This is the 21st century, where everyone would be known to own at least one computer. In fact, it seems to me that it’s almost impossible to live without one. But it’s always because of these inventions of more and more modern technologies that lead to people using them so much. Of course, that’s exactly what companies want you to do. But just turning off the light when you leave your room would help. If one measly light in a room could help the Earth, so can you!
